Requires at least 20-30 mins of audio for decent results, but using 1 to 2 hours can give significantly better results. Even higher accuracy and accent resemblance can be achieved with 4 to 6 hours of training audio.

Go to App | Note: app.play.ht takes you directly to the Studio

On the new page, click on Studio button to open the Studio Dashboard and get started with audio generation.

Here's how you do it:

Head over to your ${color}[#108a5c](Play Editor), and place your cursor where you want the pause to be, then click the ${color}[#108a5c](Add Pause button).

You can either select a default Pause Duration, or click on the Custom Duration box.

If you click on the Custom Duration box, a modal should appear asking you to enter a value of the pause duration. Please enter a value less than or equal to 5.

Once done, you should see a pause appear right where you wanted it to be.

On the bottom left side of your Studio Dashboard, click on the ${color}[#108a5c](Standard Studio) button.

A box will appear. Click on the ${color}[#108a5c](Open Standard Studio) button.

A new window will appear. On the Dashboard, click on ${color}[#108a5c](Create Audio) button.

On the new window, click on ${color}#108a5c button.

Change Voice button

Click on ${color}[#108a5c](English (US)) button on the new window.

You can scroll through the list to find your desired language.

Here's how you can add Custom Pronunciations to your Text to Speech Conversions.

Add whatever text you wish to convert, and select the word whose pronunciation you wish to change by clicking and dragging the mouse cursor over it.

Now enter your custom pronunciation in the box provided, and hit Apply.

| You can also try using our Phonemes feature by adding a Phonetic pronunciation to your words. Just select the checkbox besides Phonemes, and the rest remains the same.
