Requires a minimal amount of audio for the cloning process (as little as 30 seconds) and voice is cloned almost instantly within a few seconds.
As this method grasps the most prominent qualities of a speaker's voice, you can also use it for creating customized voice styles, emotional tone, or delivery of an existing voice clone.
Works well with almost all English accents (Multi-lingual coming soon!)

|| This method maps a much deeper understanding of a voice’s nuances and accent, hence requiring more training audio. The resulting voice is versatile, complex, and capable of changing tone with respect to the context of a sentence. Currently available only on the PlayHT 1.0.

Requires at least 20-30 mins of audio for decent results, but using 1 to 2 hours can give significantly better results. Even higher accuracy and accent resemblance can be achieved with 4 to 6 hours of training audio.

On the PlayHT website, click on ${color}[#108a5c](Go to Studio) button.

On your ${color}#108a5c, click on the ${color}#108a5c button, select ${color}#108a5c that takes you directly to the standard editor

On the ${color}[#108a5c](Standard Studio), click on the ${color}[#108a5c](Create Audio) button.

Type in the ${color}#108a5c, and your ${color}#108a5c on the ${color}[#108a5c](Play Editor).

Click on ${color}#108a5c, pick a ${color}#108a5c from the list, select a ${color}#108a5c and ${color}#108a5c.

Finally, click on ${color}[#108a5c](Convert to Speech).

Adding Custom Pauses to your Audio

|| A newly released feature of our March '21 Update, allows you to increase or decrease the duration of Pauses, where necessary.

Here's how you do it:

Head over to your ${color}[#108a5c](Play Editor), and place your cursor where you want the pause to be, then click the ${color}[#108a5c](Add Pause button).

You can either select a default Pause Duration, or click on the Custom Duration box.

If you click on the Custom Duration box, a modal should appear asking you to enter a value of the pause duration. Please enter a value less than or equal to 5.

| You can stack pause durations next to each other to increase the number more than 5.

Once done, you should see a pause appear right where you wanted it to be.

Here's how you can add Custom Pronunciations to your Text to Speech Conversions.

Head over to your ${color}[#108a5c](Play Dashboard), and click on ${color}[#108a5c](Create Audio) to open our ${color}#108a5c.

Add whatever text you wish to convert, and select the word whose pronunciation you wish to change by clicking and dragging the mouse cursor over it.

From the select toolbar, click on ${color}#108a5c.

Pronunciation

Now enter your custom pronunciation in the box provided, and hit Apply.

| You can also try using our Phonemes feature by adding a Phonetic pronunciation to your words. Just select the checkbox besides Phonemes, and the rest remains the same.

| Selecting the checkbox besides "Save to Pronunciation Library" will save your pronunciation for future use.

On the bottom left side of your Studio Dashboard, click on the ${color}[#108a5c](Standard Studio) button.

A box will appear. Click on the ${color}[#108a5c](Open Standard Studio) button.

A new window will appear. On the Dashboard, click on ${color}[#108a5c](Create Audio) button.

On the new window, click on ${color}#108a5c button.

Change Voice button

Click on ${color}[#108a5c](English (US)) button on the new window.

Language change button

You can scroll through the list to find your desired language.
