Adding Custom Pauses to your Audio

A newly released feature of our March '21 Update, allows you to increase or decrease the duration of Pauses, where necessary.




Here's how you do it:

Head over to your Play Editor, and place your cursor where you want the pause to be, then click the Add Pause button.






You can either select a default Pause Duration, or click on the Custom Duration box.







If you click on the Custom Duration box, a modal should appear asking you to enter a value of the pause duration. Please enter a value less than or equal to 5.





You can stack pause durations next to each other to increase the number more than 5.



Once done, you should see a pause appear right where you wanted it to be.







If you wish to change the pauses of Punctuations, and time between each paragraphs or lines, please click on the Pause Settings Menu, on the Menu Bar, or visit Settings on the Dashboard.
