Higher Audio Quality
Many of our users shared feedback that they needed better audio quality. So, here's what we've worked on to improve the audio output quality for the majority of our voices in the past few weeks.

.WAV Output Format

Now you can export your audio files in .WAV format as well. Exporting the audio in .WAV format significantly improves the audio quality. This is because this .WAV is an uncompressed audio format, unlike the .MP3 format which is a compressed audio format. Keep in mind that using the .WAV format to export your audio also increases the sheer size of the audio file. You can set/change your default audio output format from the settings tab in the Play.ht dashboard.

Higher Audio Sample Rate

The audio sample rate available up until now by default was 24 KHz. With this update, the audio sample rate can be toggled between three levels: 16 KHz, 24 KHz and 48 KHz. So, you'll be able to select the audio sample rate that suits your purpose. You can set/change your default audio sample rate from the settings tab in the Play.ht dashboard.

See the video below on how to change your audio quality settings.
